Hello, I’m April Arellano Village Clerk. I want to continue to
serve Franklin Park residents by increasing communication and
maintaining transparency between the residents and Village
government.
I am a member of the Municipal
Clerks of Illinois and regularly attend courses and meetings to stay
current within the role of the Clerk. I enjoy living my dream serving
the local residents as part of your local government.
Prior to my election as Clerk I
served as your Deputy Clerk, I worked extensively in the legal field
as a paralegal. In both this and my current role I have developed a
great sense of understanding that I now use to best serve people’s
needs.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in
International Relations from Lake Forest College. My family and I are
proud to call Franklin Park home. I take pride in promoting the
importance of both voting and government service to young adults. I
have conducted various voter registration drives.
